Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Lowell, MA USA

Job Type: Full time, permanent.

ePropelled is looking for a Product Manager (PM) to join our team. The PM will be responsible for our Gwynt line of UAV power and prolusion systems as well as our SwimDrive pumps. The PM is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The PM will also ensure that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

The Product Manager is expected to:

  • Develop a deep understanding of market segments and dynamics, identify new product opportunities and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Deliver MRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification and work closely with the engineering and technical teams to translate this into PRDs
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition and deliver competitive analysis
  • Support Sales and Marketing in our go to market activities

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager in a relevant field
  • Strong domain knowledge in electrical products such as electric motors, generators, power electronics, or batteries systems is essential
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Additional experience in one of our target markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel at least 25% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred (MBA desirable)

Job Title: Sr. Power Design Engineer

Location: Lowell, MA USA

Job Type: Full time, permanent.

ePropelled is seeking a candidate to join our engineering team with the following qualifications:

  1. Minimally have 5-year experience in power electronics design in the relevant industry.
  2. Must have BSEE
  3. Must be located locally in Massachusetts
  4. Must have hands-on experience of the following
    1. Synchronous rectifiers
    2. DC to DC converters
    3. Motor controllers
    4. Inverters
    5. 500W to 30kW designs requirements
  5. Must be willing to work with a local and remote team members
  6. Must work with manufacturing for DFM requirements
  7. Must be able to derive and write functional, architecture, and design docs from a requirements document.
  8. Must be able to take another engineer’s design and take it to manufacturing.
  9. Must follow corporate procedures and industry design guidelines.
  10. Must take a project from concept to full production.

  2. Must have BSEE
  3. Must be located locally in Massachusetts
  4. Must have hands-on experience and/or understanding of the following

Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Location: Lowell, MA USA

Job Type: Full time, permanent

  • Duties include creating and overseeing standardized production procedures; maintaining all documentation for products, such as work instructions and revision drawings; and determining ways to minimize operating costs, such as equipment justification to enhance performance.
  • Will collaborate with colleagues on issues like cost projections and reduction, as well as run times. They may also interface with suppliers regarding the manufacturing process.
  • May can help create automated machinery by utilizing 3D CAD software, working with suppliers to obtain the parts, and testing them.
  • He or she may look at issues like space requirements and machinery layout to create an optimized workflow.
  • Be able to create test programs for automated test and support a paperless factory environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and be able to read schematics. Work easily to integrate and network computers into the standard manufacturing workflow.
  • Being able to use SolidWorks a plus.
  • Support in CE and UL certification test and any other related product tests.
  • Totally in-charge of final test lab, design, and support of the final test lab.
  • Calculate MTBF and define the process to obtain required quality controls in manufacturing – in-house and at suppliers.
