Quality Assurance

ePropelled is committed to the implementation of quality assurance whereby all employees are responsible for, and take ownership of, the quality of their own work.

From this total quality culture, conforming to recognized customer standards, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015, and AS9100D, an aerospace management standard, ePropelled delivers to internal and external customers superior products and services that always meet, and often exceed, expectations.

ePropelled implements all quality assurance processes in accordance with the requirements of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 and AS9100:2018, an aerospace management standard. For example, ePropelled is creating its quality management system as a strategic decision to improve quality assurance and provide a sound basis for it across all products life cycles.

The processes are developed using industry-leading tools to support product development plans to meet requirements documents for each internal department, and product up-to-date quality assurance methods, including product homologation.

Through a company-wide policy of continuously improving key quality objectives, the ePropelled quality commitment process policy is maintained and controlled as a part of the Quality Management System Manual, published and revised on the corporate website, and posted across our global facilities. The goal is a rock-bottom rate of produced materials returned and very low rates of customer complaints to promote the highest level of overall customer satisfaction.

In addition, ePropelled is developing quality assurance best practices to meet high overall customer satisfaction through manufacturing quality control, as well as sales, support, and corporate financial goals.

Among them are to:

• Enhance the quality assurance capabilities at the Gilford, NH test center and other facilities to accommodate all ePropelled product families

• Train employees to support and own the company processes in line with total customer satisfaction goals

• Maintain dual sources of supply for all ePropelled unique or critical-defined items, and

• Proactive component trending analysis.

ePropelled’s mission is to supply internal and external customers with superior products and services that always meet, and often exceed, expectations. This quality assurance policy provides a path for continually setting quality objectives that conform to recognized customer standards, ISO 9001:2015, and AS9100D, as well as to establish a robust quality assurance process for new products and quality control for associated production at all manufacturing sites.

Leveraging the ePropelled advanced testing center in Gilford, NH, the business conducts rigorous failure testing, or stress tests, on all products. By operating a product until it fails, using typical in-the-field stress factors, the businesses test processes expose any unanticipated weaknesses in the product before general availability release. The lessons learned are rapidly documented and applied back into the design and manufacturing processes.

By embracing the concept of “shift left,” ePropelled is committed to avoiding problems and delays when delivering timely products by focusing on defect prevention across the full product development and production lifecycle. By emphasizing quality aspects earlier in product development and production, these principles and efforts ultimately reduce and outright avoid defects in the first place rather than correcting them later.
