CEO & President

Nick is an experienced technology entrepreneur and investor in over forty high-tech companies and has led engineering, business development, and operational teams at companies such as CrossCom, Proteon, Fibronics, and Compugraphics. He has also served on several company boards and as an advisor for venture capital firms in the Boston area. In the 90s, he started Onlake Investments, a successful investment company. Prior to Onlake, Nick was the founder and CEO of Nashoba Networks, which was acquired by Cisco Systems for $100 million, and where he remained as vice president. 

Dr. Nabeel Shirazee

Dr. Nabeel Shirazee

Nabeel graduated from Leicester University in 1990, where he studied electrical and electronic engineering. An MSc in magnetic engineering followed at Cardiff University, where he continued his studies, earned a PhD, and developed a permanent magnet lifting system that was patented by the University.

His keen interest in magnetics led to a patented magnetic levitation system, which was awarded the “World’s No. 1 Invention” at INPEX in the USA. In 1999, he founded Electronica, a magnetics research and design consultancy. Since then, he has been involved with various challenging projects, including the design of an actuator motor for a British aerospace company. He also licensed the magnetic levitation technology in France.

Chris Francis is a chartered engineer and PRINCE2certified manager with over 25 years of industrial experience gained in the manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace sectors. Having achieved a FirstClass Honours degree in electrical and electronic engineering, he was awarded a Certificate of Excellence and the IET prize at the University of South Wales in 2017 and is currently a member of the BSI Optics and Photonics Committee group CPW/172.

Head of EV Strategy

David Hudson is an automotive industry leader with over 40 years of experience in engineering and professional services. He spent over 15 years at Jaguar Cars before moving into automotive consultancy, working with leading powertrain companies in Europe, Asia, and North America. Before joinng ePropelled, David spent a decade with India’s Tata Motors, adding to their technical strength and supporting their electrification strategic plan. Through these roles, he has developed an extensive knowledge and experience of vehicle and powertrain engineering (including low-carbon technologies) from OEM and external perspective. He has also championed process improvement initiatives and strategic technology planning events.

Thiru Srinivasan

Thiru Srinivasan

Managing Director, India

Thiru has over 30 years of experience in operations for global multi-national and Indian businesses, with core expertise in strategy for technology-based businesses, product development, hard goods manufacturing, and supply chain management. Additionally, he has leadership experience in the EV industry, especially related to two- and three-wheeled eMobility, and has three US product design patents. Prior to joining ePropelled, Thiru worked with 3M, Iomega, and Rexnord and has been an advisor to EV companies, including many start-ups, to the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, and to various arms of government and industry associations in India.

He topped his 1989 B.Tech program at IIT-Madras (India) and was accepted as a University Fellow at the Ohio State University, USA. There he completed his MS in mechanical engineering in 1991, with a seminal thesis “Learning Control for Plastic Injection Moulding Processes.” He completed an Executive Management Program at IIM-Lucknow in 2012.

Nick brings over 30 years of senior manufacturing and operations management experience to ePropelled. Prior to joining us, he was the director of operations at Triasys Technologies Corp and Protium Technologies Inc., where he was also one of the founders and managing partners.

Nick was the vice president of US operations for Unique Broadband Systems and vice president of operations at SierraCom, supporting the telecommunications industry for over 12 years. His experience covers logistics, inventory control, manufacturing, customer service, quality assurance, planning, program management, facilities, and security.

Tim Quaglieri

Tim Quaglieri

Director of Finance & Human Resources

Tim has over 15 years of financial experience, including guiding sales and operations budgets for several companies. Tim has also led human resources and ancillary areas of several companies for over a decade and has been a key part of management teams through a number of acquisitions—including those of his former employers—by Husky, Autodesk, and most recently Schneider Electric. Tim is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and has a degree in accounting and economics.

Wayne has over 35 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing sector, with a specific focus on quality management systems and lean methodologies in support of industrial instrumentation production and compliance for hazardous area deployment. Most recently he held positions with Schneider Electric as a GSC customer satisfaction and quality manager, operations manufacturing manager for adaptive wireless solutions, and VP of manufacturing at adaptive instruments. He holds an associate degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Technical Institute and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Nazarene College.

With over 30 years of experience in international investment banking and financial services, Crispian has led businesses in the UK, Europe, and Asia, in addition to advising and trading for international corporate clients and institutional investors. He was one of the youngest directors of Smith New Court Plc. and was later appointed a director and board member of Schroder Securities. He was instrumental in the sale of their Japanese business to Credit Suisse, of which he subsequently became managing director. Founder of Bescap, a London based consultancy, Crispian now specializes in working with private equity groups, venture capitalists and high net worth individuals, introducing investors to, and raising capital for, SMEs and buy-out opportunities. Focusing on the automotive and beverage sectors, he has consulted for over 40 companies and is also an investor in several of them.

Gurmeet is a senior executive with more than 25 years of success in operations and supply chain management. His broad expertise includes supply chain management, global operations, business process improvement, cross-functional team leadership, new product development, procurement, and scaling. He has proven success leading supply chain operations teams to manage contract manufacturers in start-ups as well as multi-billion-dollar technology companies. He has held VP titles in supply chain, manufacturing and operations at companies such as SunLink, SPARQ Systems, Neato Robotics, Pace, and 2wire.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Martin Lauber is a marketing industry entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in building professional service companies and creating marketing communications for brands like Disney, Levis, Taco Bell, eBay, PayPal, Wells Fargo, Mercedes Benz, and Virgin. In 1997, Martin founded Swirl, a major integrated marketing agency, which sold to Dentsu/McGarry Bowen in 2017. He founded 19York in 2014. This “anti-holding” company makes minority investments in and strategically supports boutique-sized marketing agencies and technology platforms. The agencies invested in by 19York have partnered with Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft, P&G, InBev, Amazon, Starbucks, Clorox, Sprint, and Nestle. In 2019, Martin founded 19Y Ventures which participates in seed to C-round investments in mobility, food science, and e-commerce start-up companies. Martin is an avid car collector and vintage race car driver.

Douglas currently serves as founder and deputy chairman at Cebr (Center for Economics and Business Research). Before founding Cebr in 1993, he was the chief economic advisor at the CBI (Confederation of British Industry) and chief economist of IBM UK. He is one of the UK’s best-known economists and the author of The Flat White Economy (2015) and The Inequality Paradox (2018). He was the Gresham professor of commerce in 2013/14 achieving record attendances at his lectures. His specialties have been in the technology and financial sectors and he has led much of Cebr’s research in the City of London. Doug runs Cebr’s annual World Economic League Table (WELT) forecasts since their inception in 2006. These now produce 15-year forecasts for every economy in the world.

Mark has worked in the auction industry for 30 years both in the USA and the UK, and currently holds the position of global director of motorsport at Bonhams. Over the last five years, Mark has worked as a consultant with numerous teams in the world of Formula 1, but his involvement in motorsport began at an early age, attending Formula 1 races in the 1970s. In the auction world, his consignments rank as world record price achievements for marques including Rolls-Royce and both McLaren and Williams. Mark is a regular attendee and competitor at motor racing circuits throughout North America.

With over 46 years in the water movement industries space, Bill brings a wealth of knowledge to share with ePropelled. Bill has served in a variety of leadership positions in sales, marketing, business development, strategic planning, M&A and management for Sta-Rite Industries, Inc. , Jacuzzi Brothers, Inc. and PacFab, Inc., and and Pentair, Inc. where reached the position of president of their pool and spa business.

Since launching his consulting business—Business Navigation Associates, Inc.—Bill has worked with a variety of manufacturing clients in the irrigation, pool/spa, pump and water treatment industries, contributing to their growth.
