ePropelled intelligent power system (iPS) is a complete power management solution that provides steady regulated DC power for onboard avionics, servo, and payload requirements by converting the 3-phase sinusoidal AC voltages from the starter generator. Our iPS family delivers the most sophisticated power management units (PMUs) for UAVs. 

Among other benefits, the iPS is designed to: 
  • ensure high efficiencies of up to 93.5% (load dependent),  
  • offer configurable electronic engine starter (EES) parameters for different internal combustion engines, 
  • support a wide range of applications across several sectors where consistent and reliable power management is required, and 
  • provide an array of real-time performance and operational data for a range of applications and analytics. 

Aircraft and power system designers can create custom applications via our open application programming interface (API) and set thresholds for alerts and alarms based on specific applications and mission profiles. 

The onboard battery is versatile and can power EES functions or provide power to outputs if 3-phase generator power is lost. Additionally, the iPS provides onshore DC power for all features including EES function, output power, and onboard battery charging.

iPS750

The iPS750 has a 28 V output and delivers over 750 W of total output power. It comes with an integrated electronic engine starter (EES) that can be used to drive the starter generator during the engine start sequence.

iPS1500

iPS1500 comes in either 28 V or 48 V output and delivers 1500 W of total output power. It comes with an integrated electronic engine starter (EES) that can be used to drive the starter generator during the engine start sequence.

iPS3000

iPS3000 comes in either 28 V or 48 V output and delivers 3000 W of total output power. There is an optional external electronic engine starter (EES) unit that can be used to drive the starter generator during the engine start sequence.

iPS6000

iPS6000 comes in either 28 V or 48 V output and delivers 6000 W of total output power. There is an optional external electronic engine starter (EES) unit that can be used to drive the starter generator during the engine start sequence.

iPS12000

You can get 12000 W of total output power by stacking two iPS6000s together. There is an optional external electronic engine starter (EES) unit that can be used to drive the starter generator during the engine start sequence.
