Our Reach

ePropelled’s extensive technology portfolio is applied to develop better electric motors for a range of applications to deliver propulsion systems for:

  • electric vehicles (EVs),
  • unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and
  • electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOLs).

Our motors can also be used in cooling pumps for propulsion systems and they have even been adapted as pump motors for pools and spas to deliver the high level of efficiency required in the industry.

We Start with Invention

ePropelled innovations have led to a broad patent portfolio which we apply to build value-added systems that address some of the most pressing problems and exciting opportunities.

Patented eDTSTM technology: An innovative, fault-tolerant electric motor design with software control that optimizes the performance of the electric propulsion system. This innovative technology allows the speed and torque to be varied inside the motor in real time, delivering an improvement of at least 15% in motor performance.

Cast cooling jacket (patent pending): This solution improves the thermal efficiency and reliability of electric machines. It’s been successfully implemented in a 50 kW starter generator for an automotive range extender application.

UAV rotor and stator hub design (patent pending): This innovative design for cooling starter generators and propulsion motors is now implemented across our UAV product range.

Shaftless sealed pumps (patent pending): These unique pumps solve the most common industry-specific challenges, most notably the size and weight of the motors, the level of noise they produce, and the costs of energy required to run them. Their voltage ranges from 48 VDC to 800 VDC, they are leakproof and 90%+ efficient, while current induction technology is only 75% efficient. Their leading-edge design is versatile and can be applied to vehicle systems and propulsion motors.

All ePropelled products are interconnected—our water pump motors are based on the UAV motors, while pumps are also needed for EVs and eVTOLs. It’s all linked together by our leading-edge technology that can be applied to all electric motors and generators.

We create complete systems that are smaller and lighter but more powerful than others and with lower operating costs. Our heritage in technology also enables us to enhance our systems with smart software features ranging from diagnostics to artificial-intelligence-based self-learning capabilities. This allows our systems to continually control and monitor their operations, provide real-time updates, and save data to help end users improve machine performance.
