Manufacturing Manager
Lead and Manage the Product Manufacturing team. Coordinate with Planning, Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure delivery schedules are met. Calculate production time, staffing requirements material and equipment costs. Maintain weekly production status reporting updates. Maintain and monitor performance metrics. Work with Engineering team on new product introduction. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) implementation processes from product design reviews for manufacturability, concept, development, pilot, launch and production release.

B.S. in Mechanical /Manufacturing engineering, or other related fields.

Electrical & Electronic Test Technician
The Electrical Test Technician, reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, has experience running a variety of electronic test equipment, specifically oscilloscopes, multi-meters, bench power supplies, dynamic loads, and data loggers. They possess solid experience reading electronic schematics and debugging circuits down to the component level. They set up lab tests in support of the engineering team, and have experience managing a Production Test Area.

Associates Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience desired.

Minimum 5 years experience working with Analog /Digital electronics in power systems.

Experience working with power supplies and/or motor controllers desired.</li>

Must have proficient skills in setting up and conducting tests with oscilloscopes, data- logging, multi-meters, temperature measurements, and circuit testing.

Must have hands-on experience debugging circuits down to the component level.

Must be organized and have a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Quality Inspector Assembler
We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector Assembler to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products as well as production procedures. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. As well as that individual can perform light assembly work. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards are essential. Design PCBs for motor control hardware utilizing techniques to prevent EMC and EMI.

Robust testing / validation / documentation methodology for design verification.
Fault investigation and FMEA.
Supervise and support junior engineers.

ePropelled is looking for a skilled “hands on” Principal Embedded Software Engineer with experience in the design of embedded motor controllers for its line of high efficiency brushless motor/generators for use in a variety of applications. The ideal candidate will have successful experience taking high power motor controller design projects from concept to manufacturing. Familiarity with a variety of software simulation tools is also desired. The individual will be self-motivated, pro-active, and capable of working under pressure with the ability to work to tight time scales, take ownership of problems and resolve them. As part of a design engineering team, the candidate will take a leading role in providing guidance to other software engineers across the globe.

BSc or BEng Degree in Computer Science or similar engineering Degree qualification

Minimum 5 years’ design experience working in an embedded electro-mechanical design environment

Candidates with HND and 10+ years of experience in embedded software controller design may also apply

Experience at expert level in C programming of embedded software

Experience with mission critical software from either the Space, Transport, Medical or similar industry with strong requirements for quality of the software solutions

The ideal candidate will have successful experience taking high power motor controller design projects from concept to manufacturing. Experience should include consideration of the thermal aspects of PCB and enclosure design, for high power systems. Familiarity with a variety of software simulation tools is also desired.

Quality Assurance Manager
ePropelled is looking for a skilled “hands on” QA Manager to build a team, outfit a lab, and create a process appropriate for the qualification testing of ePropelled’s products which include, power supplies, motor controllers and motor/motor generators. The ideal candidate has experience in the testing of high current power supplies, motor controllers, and motor/generators for use in a variety of applications.

BS Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a QA group.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in qualifying motor/motor generators and Analogue/Digital electronics for use in power systems.

Knowledge of brushless, sensor-less, open loop and FOC motor drive techniques.

Experience validating propulsion motors and starter generators against marketing requirements and functional specifications.

Experience testing high-power motor controllers, power regulators, high efficiency AC-DC power converters, DC-DC converters, synchronous rectifiers and battery management solutions.

The QA Test Operator/Technician, reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, has experience running a variety of electronic test equipment, specifically oscilloscopes, multi-meters, bench power supplies, dynamic loads, and data loggers. This role is crucial for life and QA testing beyond the scope of operations on motors, related motor controller electronics, and associated systems. Use of multiple testing methods to ascertain whether our products can surpass those of our competitors.

This role requires an education in electrical engineering and strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to multi-task and work well in a self-directed environment is essential.

8 to 12 years’ experience in Power Electronics Design

Bachelor’s Degree in EEE or ECE and master’s degree in Power Electronics/Power systems
